Snake River Foods, Inc., is proud to have been selling Whoppers in the Treasure Valley since 1987. Founded in 1987 by Tom and Jon Nunamaker, two brothers who entered the Burger King business in 1978, it started with one Burger King in Nampa, ID.
Since that time, the business has been taken over by Tom and Jon's children, who are proud to continue their fathers' legacy of providing great food, service, and value.
Snake River Foods now operates seven Burger King restaurants, with four located in Idaho's Treasure Valley and three in Montana's Bitterroot Valley. Ted Nunamaker, a retired U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer, oversees Idaho operations, and his cousin Mara Nunamaker directs operations in Montana.
